In 2017 I spent 6 weeks working on season 2 of Channel 4’s comedy series, Damned, as the art assistant. My role primarily involved creating the almost all of the art department graphics. Here is a selection of some of the bits and bobs I created.

This was a really fun little project. Photographer and Director, Laura Manners, asked me to create an 80s inspired VHS sleeve, as well as the end credits, for the music video she directed for Dump Him by Eva-Lina. Here’s what I came up with based on the single cover Laura had created (this). I also played around with some over the top VHS effects because why not? Watch the full video here.
I did my BA in Digital Film Production at Ravensbourne. As one of my projects while I was there I made a short film based on Shakespeare’s Sonnet 1 and the story of Echo and Narcissus. It was my first experiment with hand drawn animation. (examples of this work are the ones with the purple background)
I later went on to use the same techniques (and even reuse some of the same drawings) in my final film, Byrd. A film inspired in part by the children’s illustrators, Quentin Blake and Chris Riddell, and the painting ‘Death of Chatterton’ by Henry Wallis. I also experimented with rotoscoping on this project. (examples of this work are the ones with the black background)
Singer/songwriter, Nova May, asked me to help her with designing a new logo for her rebrand. She wanted something edgy but feminine. We took inspiration from artists like Billie Eilish and Camila Cabello, and brands like Dolls Kill and Quicksilver.

Over lockdown Laura Manners directed this music video for Oli Fox, the premise was for it to be displayed mostly through a number of different social media apps, My task was to create frames for recognisable apps without using their branding as well as creating various motion graphics such as a video game character selection screen and instagram live style hearts popping up.
I designed a logo and some business cards for fire safety advisors and trainers, Fire Safety Frontline.
I have been working with Aspire Leadership for a few years as their graphic designer. Aspire provide bespoke or public training courses in leadership development and management training. I design their course handouts, powerpoint slides, social media graphics, promotional material, ebook covers, Christmas cards, and more. I also worked with Sholto Douglas to create their Style Guide.

Aware Wolf Pack is a project I started on Instagram to voice my anger about the climate crisis as well as presenting useful information about how to combat it on an individual level.
I wanted to pack a punch with a nauseating colour scheme (inspired in part by hazard signs) and attention grabbing motion graphics that are both hard to look at and hard to look away from - just like climate change.

Eat Chay make the best vegan Vietnamese food in London, and when they asked my to make an 80s Sci-Fi movie poster for their three Bao Buns, I was very pleased to oblige.
They later contacted me to revamp their T-shirt design which I also did.

During Quarantine, Chinchilla (urban pop artist) asked me to throw together a 1930’s style invite for a livestream event she was holding for the release of her EP, Awakening. It’s really good - listen here.
Inspiration included great Gatsby, Bugsy Malone, prohibition/ flapper culture.
It’s designed to work with instagram as a story or a post and to work with the various aspect ratios of different phone screens.
It was just a quick, last minute job, but I was happy with it - it’s an example of what I can do in a couple of hours.
In 2015 I worked with the controversial comedian, Daniel O'Reilly (aka Dapper Laughs), to provide the background graphics for his live show, ‘The Res-Erection’. It mainly involved pasting his face onto Jesus and other religious icons. Here are the results.
Amber is a short film written and directed by the award winning stand-up comedian, Andi Osho, about a teenage girl’s obsession with the ‘one direction’ inspired band, One Summer. I art directed the film which involved making graphics like boy band posters and whisky labels.
